Birmingham Girls Softball is a community-based, non-profit organization providing girls ages 6 to 14 the opportunity to play organized recreational softball.
Jags Fastpitch is the official travel program of Birmingham Girls Softball, consisting of teams ranging from 9U to high school.
PLAYER'S CLINIC
We are excited to announce we are bringing back our Player's Clinic, hosted by the Seaholm High School Varsity Softball Coaches and Players. This year's Clinic will take place on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at the Seaholm High School Varsity Softball Field. The times for the clinic will be as follows:
- Majors 1 & Majors 2:
- 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM*
- Majors 3 & Majors 4:
- 2:00 PM to 3:45 PM*
- Majors 5 and Seniors:
- 4:00 PM to 5:45 PM*
*Times are subject to change slightly based on participation numbers and weather.
The cost for this year's clinic will be $25 if you pre-register, or $30 at the door. You can pre-register for the Clinic at:

Players should wear softball pants and gym shoes, turf shoes or molded cleats (Seaholm's Varsity Field is turf). Players should bring their glove, batting helmet, bat and fielding mask. FOR SAFETY REASONS, PLEASE DO NOT BRING A BALL.
Our Player's Clinic is designed to introduce new participants to basic softball skills while enhancing and developing the abilities of our more experienced players. This will also be a great opportunity for players to meet their new BGS teammates and re-connect with others from previous years.
Parents and BGS coaches are not required to stay for the duration of the clinic, although you are welcome to sit in the stands and watch (and hopefully learn) if you so choose.
